So Much "Floofiness" in one place !!

No Babies..... :(

Mishka is in heat, so that means she is not pregnant again...

I've made an appointment to have her spayed tomorrow. I am very sad she never got a chance to have kittens. They would have had such a good mother.

When Mila first arrived, Mishka let Mila nurse from her for at least 3 months off and on. She also seemed happy while Mila was nursing.

Meals on Wheels !

Today Mishka and Mila get dinner on the road. We went to visit my step dad who is still recovering from a surgery he had on Dec. 11th, 2008. He lives north of us about 320 miles. It takes 4 1/2 hours to drive there, and the kitties are so good in the car.

My hubby and I drove up together with the 3 cats, but on the way home we drove separate vans, because we needed to bring a van back to Minneapolis for a friend. So, I was all alone in my van with 3 non-caged, free range kitties ...

.

It was no easy feat, but I managed not to crash. Mila and Zateynik were on mommies lap. ( most of the trip), Mishka wanted to be in her "USUAL" spot. On my right shoulder, seriously, she makes me hold her 14 pound butt for hours. My right arm is getting very strong !!

There is not enough "Mommy Lap" to go around !

Home - There's no place like it

Finally, we are home ! Here are some photos I took in the car on the road. Milakoshka seems very stressed out by the whole ordeal. She slept on my lap the entire trip, 4 1/2 hours each way. Such a good girl !!

About back to normal ...

Tonight Milakoshka welcomed Mishka back home by giving her a big ..... strangle hold ! Ha, bet you thought I was gonna say HUG ?

Well, in reality they were just laying there together on the floor. I think Mila was trying to get Mishka to play with her. At least the kitties are back to normal. Everyone was running around today playing like Mishka and I where never even gone ! ( what's up with that ? )

I am glad to be home, and wish my step-father a speedy recovery from his surgery on Thursday !
