When I am an old cat....

WHEN I AM AN OLD CAT
===============

When I am an Old Cat I shall wear
a diamond collar and leave my footprints
on white couches;
I shall drink my cream with
a touch of brandy and spit out my vitamins;
I shall sit on the laps of dog people just to irritate them;
I shall nap on top of the neighbor's petunias and perch on top of
birdbaths and grow charmingly chubby

But for now I must tolerate the dog
and use my litter box and not sharpen
my claws on the sofa,
so no one can doubt
the truth that cats are superior to dogs.

But every once in a while I wonder
if I should be naughty now and then
and nip a few toes,
so my humans won't be too shocked when suddenly
I become an old cat and
start to wear a diamond collar.

D' uh ..... A Helpful Household Tidbit !

I had to go into the kitchen and check this out for myself. Who looks at the end of your aluminum foil box?

You know when you try to pull some foil out and the whole roll comes out of the box. Then you have to put the roll back in the box and start over. The darn roll always comes out at the wrong time and almost every time you use it.

Well, I would like to share this with you.

Yesterday, I (NOT ME) went to throw out an empty Reynolds foil box and for some reason I turned it and looked at the end of the box.

And written on the end it said, Press here to lock end.

.

Right there on the end of the box is a tab to lock the roll in place.

How long has this little locking tab been there? I then looked at a generic brand of aluminum foil and it had one, too.

I then looked at a box of Saran wrap and it had them too! I can't count the number of times the Saran wrap roll has jumped out when I was trying to cover something up.

I'm sharing this with my friends.

I got this e-mail from a friend... It was not me who discovered the cool little
notches on the sides of tin foil boxs... I am not that smart.
.
But I did go look at my tin foil box tonight, and sure enough the locking tabs were there...
D'uh, is just not a strong enough word to express how dumb I feel right now !

Please let me know I am not the dumbest person on the planet...

WOW !

I just looked outside, and the sunset was beautiful. So I went out and took a photo, dressed only in slippers and a T-shirt. Burrrr, but it was worth it.

Cat Treats !

I just bought some great cat treats, and thought I'd share... My newest kitty Zateynik (BJ) is a VERY picky eater, and has never eaten a "treat" as long as we have had him. He ate these treats like they were going out of style !!!

They are called REAL FOOD TOPPERS I got the salmon, and all three went crazy for them !
